Carlos Fama is a self-taught digital collage artist working out of Cadiz, Spain, building a body of work almost entirely online. His subject is Black women, rendered with skin that reads less like photography and more like polished metal or cut stone, every portrait staged as if the sitter were both the jewelry and the person wearing it. Fashion, regalia and speculative futurism collapse into a single register, crowns and chains and gleaming surfaces treated as inherited status rather than accessory. The result lands closer to Afrofuturist iconography than digital illustration, confrontational, glossy and unmistakably his own. No agency, no client list, no institutional pedigree, just a recognizable visual argument built one post at a time.
